To My Believing Sister

 

The author sent these 33 excerpts from letters to his sister when her husband passed away, both to share his grief with her and to encourage her courage and patience in the face of the trials of this world. These letters were intended to convey to her that this life is only a brief stay on earth, after which the afterlife will determine whether one has sown a seed of good whose fruits one will reap, or a seed of evil whose fruits one will reap.
